Takt Op. Destiny

Just like its name, the upcoming anime series “Takt Op. Destiny” by MAPPA and Madhouse had been an enigma, but now all the notes have started to align in symphony.

They unveiled the second trailer featuring the opening song “takt” by Ryo from Supercell featuring vocals from Mafumafu and gaku and ending theme “Symphonia” by Mika Nakashima.

The trailer starts with the magic girl named ‘Destiny’ as she fights off a D2 monster while Beethoven plays in the background.

We soon get a glimpse of the Conductor with an amputated arm, but just as he raises his wand, the video cuts to black as the theme song “takt” starts to play.

Though the anime takes place in America, it doesn’t quite feel like the modern times but instead has an Americana vibe of the 1970s with muscle cars and old-style restaurants.

“Takt Op. Destiny” seems to have much potential, and it will be wonderful to see how MAPPA and Madhouse can incorporate their talent.
