Chapter 337 shows how Aoyama’s reveal as the traitor has shifted the power balance of the upcoming war to the heroes’ side.
We got to see how Aoyama was forced to betray his friends because his parents’ lives were at stake.
To save Aoyama from being quirkless, his parents asked AFO to grant him powers, which came at a hefty price.
Aoyama explains how he hated deceiving, but if he hadn’t obeyed AFO, he and his parents would have been killed mercilessly.
AFO does not know that Aoyama has been revealed, and UA can use it to their benefit.
At the same time, the chapter begins with AFO mentioning how his spies are just disposable pawns, and he doesn’t care if they’re killed or revealed.
