S2 to Debut This Fall

Although Muv-Luv Alternative promoted itself as an action-filled mecha vs. aliens anime, it subtly transitioned into something much more complex.
Its latest teaser shares a glimpse of Takeru in action while confirming the season’s October 5 release date.
The teaser shows Takeru’s life after graduating from the TSF training and becoming a full-time soldier for the UN Forces.
The teaser concludes with a person standing in ruins, and from the looks of it, we can say that it’s none other than Sumika of the parallel world.
This theory is further solidified by the visual that features Sumika and Takeru reaching out to each other with distraught expressions.
However, another theory that occurs in my mind is if the BETA forces are using Sumika or if she’s not on humanity’s side. What are your thoughts on it? Let us know in the comments.
