The World Ends With You manga has announced that its opening theme song, “TEENAGE CITY RIOT,” will be changed.
The decision was caused due to the drummer of the ALI band getting arrested. Kahadio was arrested, but its cause has not been revealed yet.
The anime’s schedule has not been hampered as Funimation will be streaming it as per schedule. An opening theme will be decided later.
Sony Music Label has requested the animation corporation committee to suspend the use of ALI’s music.
