Despite being summoned to another world to aid a kingdom in a war against the demon lord, Kazuya Souma does not flick his fingers to destroy the enemy army.

From the start of How a Realist Hero Rebuilt the Kingdom, one would think that the series will go the usual isekai route.

The official website for How a Realist Hero Rebuilt the Kingdom has released a promotional video to announce the second season of the anime.

The PV has Kazuya carry out his administrative duties as usual. We also get to see some wholesome scenes between him and Liscia.

The opening theme for the second season, “Real-Eyes,” will be performed by Inori Minase, and Ami will perform the ending theme “Lights.”

The visual features Kazuya and Lischia in their regal attire. Even with some of the isekai traps here, this series offers more subversion than any in the recent past.

Given the abrupt way in which the story ended, a second season was almost inevitable. It’s just surprising how fast that happened.
