Weathering With You will debut over television for the first time on 3rd January on TV Asahi. A special ending sequence was designed for the debut.
The extra ending scene will be one minute long and will only premiere for a single night on 3rd January after the anime’s original ending credits.
The film conveys the message: I want to overcome severe weather and difficulties with you.
