Natsume’s Book of Friends

An official website has been created to announce an upcoming anime for Natsume’s Book of Friends, which will be released in 2021 in Japan.
The theatrical release anime is titled Natsume’s Book of Friends: The Waking Rock and the Strange Visitor and will have two episodes.
Studio Shuka is producing the anime. A new visual has been revealed showing Natsume against the backdrop of the night sky along with Madara.
Natsume Yuujinchou is a slice-of-life anime that follows the story of Takashi Natsume, a 15-year-old who possesses the ability to see spirits.
One day, he discovers a book that belonged to his grandmother. The book contains the names of spirits whom she made servitude contracts with.
