Masamune-kun’s Revenge might look like a comedy, but when you delve into it, you’ll slowly realize the satire on society.
Season 2 of Masamune-kun’s Revenge, titled Masamune-kun’s Revenge R, has just been announced.
The trailer shows glimpses from Masamune-kun’s days as a new transfer student to how he slowly got closer to his bully, everything can be recapped through this small video.
In the last episode of season 1, Aki went away to Paris, and Masamune planned to follow him there. Thus it ended with a promise of “Yay, we’ll be going to Paris soon.”
Many fans were unsatisfied with the ending since the theme of the entire series, revenge, was never enacted.
I honestly expected more rivalry and sass from the anime, but it never came. Will season 2 finally provide what we’ve all waited for?
