Time travel and young love, can the combination get any better? The Tunnel to Summer, the Exit of Goodbye, is sure to be a smashing hit anime movie next year.
The Tunnel to Summer, the Exit of Goodbye is an anime movie that will be released in 2022. Although a definite date hasn’t been announced yet, more details are expected soon.
An illustration by Kukka, the novel’s illustrator, shows the female protagonist Anzu Hanaki. The film will feature her and Tono Kaoru as the leads.
Studio CLAP is animating the movie. Tomohisa Taguchi is its director, and he has previously worked on Kino’s Journey, Akudama Drive, and other anime.
The original novel by Mokune Hachi and Kukka, which is inspiring the movie, has also received a manga adaptation.
The upcoming movie will give us a thrilling journey through time. With protagonists who have their own secrets to keep, it might be one hell of a time-traveling adventure.
