“Deji” Meets Girl is this peculiar anime where the appearance of one weird guy topples Maise’s logical world.
“Deji” Meets Girl short anime will be released on October 1, 2021, with 90-second weekly episodes.
The trailer shows Maise and the “Deji” boy who is capable of doing the weirdest possible things.
Akane Malbeni, the original character designer and the script supervisor of the anime, is creating the manga adaptation.
The Polaris website will debut the manga with a prologue and first chapter on September 30.
With a vintage animation design, the series reminds me of Ghibli movies like Ponyo. The concept is engaging as Maise is going to have the adventure of her life.
