He was 54 years old, and his family has held a private service.
A message of condolence was posted on the official Twitter account of Berserk.
Young Animal magazine’s editor-in-chief has reminisced about the likes and dislikes of Miura.
Berserk was heading towards its finale, and chapter 364 was recently released.
The manga has been releasing on an irregular basis in the last decade since Miura was careful not to overwork.
Fans are devastated due to the misfortune that has befallen.
